Brief
Designing a bathroom for a small space is a common challenge, particularly in London. And this room is no exception - it needed to contain a bath with shower, sink, WC and storage. It has the added problem of no natural light.
The Solution
Keep colours light and use materials that allow maximum light to pass around the room - glass and mirrors work well. A small bath was necessary to fit the space, as well as a 'short' WC pan. A large mirror, foldaway shower screen, glass sink with recessed pipework and storage tucked away behind the door all help to make the most of the space. Underfloor heating, heated towel rail and dimmable lights are small touches of luxury.
