Brief
To create a modernist 1960s inspired living room but without changing the rather ethnic sofa!
Solution
The design centres around "Woodstock" psychaedelic wallpaper panel. A silver painted wall opposite and reflective high gloss white cupboards echo a 60s era, as does the classice modernist Arco lamp, the glass coffee table and six-pelt sheepskin rug.
The ethnic sofa was allowed to find its place amongst the various items collected from world travels. The cushion covers were changed and used to blend the colour scheme with the orange wallpaper by introducing silks in caramels, browns and a splash of lime green for contrast. Textures of silk, fur and sheepskin combine to create a warm, seductive and comfortable feel.
